Biography

Dallia is a diver, working everyday to bring fish and seafood to the hive as well as to sell at the market. She is extremely skilled at making sushi and is famous for her torpedo shrimp. Sometimes she finds strange treasure on the sea floor, generally consisting of sunken ships and the bones of very large sea animals, she will find the odd treasure chest with riches and gems long forgotten.

Once, she saw a large sea serpent, like a hybrid of a guardian and a spiral, but massively gargantuan. It had blue eyes like giant pearls that glowed with an eerie yet calming light, Its body was so massive that only a little bit of the neck was visible behind it and the rest of its body was hidden in the darkness of the deep ocean.

The creature looked at her with curious eyes and reached out two long feelers towards her. Dallia was mesmerized and reached out her claws to touch one of the feelers. It felt warm and smooth. The creature then took back its feelers, gave Dallia a final glance, then went and dived down back into the darkness.

As it was gone, Dallia saw that something shiny was floating in place in front of her. It was a large translucent, pearl like stone. She looked deeply into the pearl and saw strange dragons in it. One looked like her, but older, with a red eyed guardian. Beside them were several little dragons, all looking closely at a clutch of eggs. They were hatching.

The vision stopped, and Dallia realised that the ocean was darker. She swam to the surface and realized it was night, and late too. She also hadn't realized the pearl was glowing. The light faded, and Dallia flew out of the ocean and started traveling back towards the hive. Luna scolded her for coming back so late and Dallia went to her room, putting the strange pearl down into a pile of soft fabric.

Dallia thought about what had happened. It felt so surreal, as if it had never happened, but it did, because the pearl was sitting in the fabric nest right beside her. She fell asleep, and more visions came to her. She had visions dragons talking, making friends and other such occurrences. One such vision was that Rhianwen had brought her blueberry pancakes earlier in the night and had left them on the kitchen table.

Sure enough, when she woke up, There were the blueberry pancakes on the kitchen table. She spotted a note with a little smiley face with its tongue sticking out on it. She ate the pancakes and set off to tell her friend about what had happened. He didn't believe her, but then she brought the pearl to prove it.

Now, they go swimming together, looking endlessly for the strange creature. Dallia realizes that the red eyed guardian she saw was Rhianwen, but she doesn't plan on telling that to him yet, not until their eggs hatch...
