Álvaro Reedskimmer
Captain of the Leviathan
Subclan: The Leviathan

Born in the depths of the Sea of a Thousand Currents, Álvaro learned how to deal with water very quickly. Most dragons of his kind preferred dry land, and truth be told, he understood why, but to him, the sea was home.

For a long time, he learned the secrets of the depths, and eventually, had the idea of learning to sail. A ship was all he needed to do so, and so a ship he got. He named it the Leviathan and found a crew of decent size who didn't mind getting their claws dirty, turning their sails to pirating - blaming it on their "borrowing" tendencies, as most were ridgebacks like himself.

Eventually, his crew turned on him. In particular, his first mate Romy, who attempted to assassinate him on a particularly dark night. He ended up overpowering Romy, and set sail for the
clearer waters of the Sea. It took him quite some time, but eventually he found trust in other dragons, and found a new crew.

With that trust eventually came love - Fritz, a Tundra Necromancer, caught his eye. The two are nearly inseparable when Álvaro isn't at the wheel of the ship.
