Firewood subspecies, Tundra variant.
Lore: Dragons that have lived out in the ever burning woodlands of the Scorched Forest for generations found clever ways to blend in with their ashen surroundings. Mimic the burning logs that fill their home, by burrowing into the ash and waiting they have become excellent ambush predators; and the plants eaters become hard to spot among all the ash and embers. They have even learned to mimic the heat of the embers so that any that approach won’t dare touch and find out that log is not quite as it seems. Their bodies mimic the fire and embers while their wings mimic the wood that should be burning. These dragons are a shy bunch unless among their own, most other dragons that pass through won’t even know the Firewood dragons are all around them.
