Biography

SUNFALL
I'll be your reason to keep fighting. Just stay with me.

Just as the proud parents of a tiny hatchling tundra watched their child come into the world, the heavens above broke open, raining fire and fury down on the small troupe of dragons. It was if the sun itself had come down to the land, burning bright and streaking across the sky, fragmenting into shattered pieces across their small group's land. As parts of this fireball hit the ground they ignited, bursting into flames.

The parents attempted to flee with the still-cracking egg, but as mighty oak tree that had held their tent caught aflame, it crashed down onto the family, felling the parents instantly. The child was narrowly missed, but it was too late for the others. As he crawled out of the only world he'd ever known he was met with a reality of fire.

Here he survived in the charred remains of what would have been his life. He did not know any other, he wanted for nothing. Weeks later a traveling tundra stumbled across the ruin, and the large tundra child. The child did not speak, his first weeks of life alone making him feral. The traveler stayed for a few days and a few nights, gaining the child's trust.

A few moons later the child, now named Sunfall by himself, was just like the other hatchlings in the traveler's home clan. Almost. He grew larger and stronger than the others. His wings were slightly malformed and his horns were covered in small growths, and he smelled of something not quite.. Tundra.

As the moons grew and waned, and the tundra clan did as well, another travelling tundra, from a clan of sands and tunnels, claiming the child was indeed of something other. He did not trust her, and so she stayed for many weeks until he could. He left with her, parting from the only family he had ever known.

Where she took him, there were others just like him. Bigger, faster, stronger. Smaller wings, larger horns, huge talons and sharp teeth. Both tundra and not. He learned what it meant to be a half-breed, and he learned he was not alone. He learned that when enough magic was put into a child it was possible. Many believed that half-breeds could not exist due to the very nature of them, but here he was, dozens of dragons proving it.

As Sunfall grew accustomed to his new life he wanted to be more. Just when he thought he'd go mad from not knowing what exactly was a part of him, the Icewarden's first children came out of their hiding. He, and the others like him, finally understood what they were.

As some of the half-breeds embraced their heritage, none did more than Sunfall. As soon as he had gathered the treasures he needed, he visited a mage and received a scroll to change himself. He finally felt like himself.

Sunfall was one of the Sentries for the old clan. Although the gaolers there didn't follow the original rules, they still felt a need for order. Sunfall made sure no one came in and no one left without permission from the appropriate dragon. He's a powerful dragon, and was good at his job. His mate was TwentyThree, and he loved her dearly. She, sadly, disappeared in the storm that took out a large part of the clan during a failed coup. He traveled with his king and ended up here in the Haven where he reconnected with an old friend, Moonstone.

When the demon that's inside you is ready to begin
And it feels like it's a battle that you will never win
When you're aching for the fire and begging for your sin
When there's nothing left inside, there's still a reason to fight

Don't let it take your soul
Look at me take control
When knowing to fight this war
This is nothing worth dying for

Are you ready to begin?
This is a battle that we are gonna win
