Nobody knows who he is, where he came from, what he is. All they know is that he hides terrible secrets beneath a beautiful hide.

Nox Caelo is an emperor, on his shoulders are three heads and a useless pair of legs dangle from his body, to short to reach the ground behind his front legs yet outfited with long, gruesome claws as morbid as the several rows of long, sharp fangs inside the emperors maw.
Nox' hide sparkles with stars you'd find on a clear nights sky, his body perfectly mimicking the colors and glow, it almost seems as if he was a walking embodiment of the calm night, his smooth voice always speaking of sweet and morbid promises he could be mistaken for a gentleman were it not for the clearly misplaced heads and legs he carried.
And by day, Nox is harmless. he stays apart from those curious and terrified of him, by day his sister Lumen hunts, her red skin always drenched in blood from violent kills while he remains away from the battlefield she creates, he much rather plays with his mate, sends the dragons he manipulates and breaks to be his puppets to do his dirty work while the sun still shines
Only by night does he become a threat, by night his body almost melts into the sky unsuspecting dragons watch, a perfect camouflage for a waiting predator. many eyes watch dragon unknowingly watching the empror move across the sky, they won't know he's there until bright stars seem to moves and shift across the sky.

They won't know until three maws filled with teeth open up to swallow them whole
