Gentle Giant

Cylyria is a gentle soul. She came to Clan Understar with a rudimentary knowledge of healing, and the clan's more scholarly residents found her the resources to teach herself. Since then, she has been the dragon all come to when they find themselves or their hatchlings falling ill. While her mate, Zanevior, is skilled in dealing with serious wounds and lacerations, Cylyria uses her inborn Light magic to see and diagnose many illnesses with startling accuracy. She uses a variety of poultices and brews to speed healing and to cure disease, and the clan has never been healthier.
She spends most of her time with Glynnis, the hatchling caretaker, talking with her and keeping an eye on the yet-unhatched eggs for any sign of life. Often, the faces hatchlings first see after their parents is either Glynnis or Cylyria.
She rarely leaves the clan, unlike Zanevior, and when her mate returns they spend quite a while together, sharing information learned and stories of what happened while they were apart.
Zanevior and Cylyria also have one daughter they keep in touch with, named Aquila. She paid great attention to her parents' medical teachings, and has become the alchemist and witch of a distant lightning clan, much to her parents' pride. She is often the subject of bragging when the topic of grown hatchlings comes up in Clan Understar.
