Contempt

It is rumored that there was a fifth egg in the nest. It is also rumored that the hatchling and Contempt were once inseparable, eating, drinking, training together. Some would almost remember the two of them, though they could almost be mistaken as the same dragon. Infestation remembers loving the pair like she had loved no other, not even Shallow and Temperance. Not Kittle, nor Elation, nor Ominous could hold this mother's love like Contempt and her rumored twin.

Though, that all changed when the twin was found dead on the training field. No one truly knows how it happened, but rumors say that Contempt was found standing above her sister's body, chest heaving and claws coated in blood. That's only, speculation, however.

That doesn't change the fact that other dragons now steer clear of Contempt, keeping their defenseless hatchlings away from her.

Even her own mother has grown distant, instead corresponding more regularly with her tamer siblings. The parent that continues to have contact with her is not her birth parent, though many in the clan say he is gullible and naive for this. Temperance, however, can't help but see similarities between Infestation and Contempt. He treats her like his own daughter (he is her father, in a way, because of his polyamorus relationship with Infestation and Shallow).

Contempt has lived with these rumors, an emotional outcast, for the majority of her adult life. She has become bitter and spiteful towards most of her clanmates, though she has never been caught allegedly harming another dragon since.

Recently, she has taken residence in Wynn and Finder's forge, becoming seclusive and secretive. Occasionally she will even leave the clan for weeks at a time, returning only with whatever she left with. No one really knows what she does in these times, and no one particularly cares to ask.
