In Norse mythology Hela rules over Helheim, the realm of the dead. She is a daughter of Loki, and looks half black and dead, and half blank and alive.

Hela is the second in line to the throne. However, Jormungandr is very likely to pass up on it, and will probably keep organising the defense of the lair instead. Therefore she keeps close to her parents a lot, trying to learn everything she can to become a good ruler. She sits besides her mother on another, smaller throne, and puts the beads that decorate her wings back in place. She's a very polite and wellmannered dragoness, but if the situation is dire, she knows how to give her orders.
She is the most powerful enchantress of the whole lair.
