Trillian looks at you curiously as you ask her who the Pearlcatcher is.
"That's Poseidon, he and his kids bring in all our fish. I'm actually surprised to see him right now, normally he goes out a lot earlier. He could probably take you down to the docks if you asked nice enough."
Without giving you a chance to answer, she peeks over your shoulder and calls to the Pearlcatcher.
"Hey Poseidon!"
The Pearlcatcher turns towards you both and backpedals, shrugging the huge triton slung against his side. You note the heaviness of his steps and the muscle under his turquoise scales. He could probably pick up a full-grown Guardian without breaking a sweat.
"How's it goin' Trill? What cha need?"
His voice has a sweet but metallic twang to it like he chewed rocks for fun and his tongue wouldn't get out of the way.
"This is our guest, I was wondering if you could take them down to the docks or the old arena? I'd do it but I need to stay here."
"Well, nice to meet cha. I can get you down to the docks but not the arena. I'm in a certain hurry today. But if you like once we get to the docks I can have someone take you to the arena."

The Pearlcatcher drake nods cheerfully and smiles at Trillian before turning back towards the path out of the carved castle caves. He doesn't say much as you follow the worn cliff trail that you took to get to the castle in the first place. You look over your shoulder briefly, the tall, limestone cliffs are riddled with pockmarks and divots from the humid sea air wearing away until long, winding tunnels could be used to nest and live in. The Malaika Kupanda clan's West Wing "castle" wasn't really even a castle at all, just a subsection of this spiderweb of tunnels, reinforced sometime in the second Age and kept up by the clans who reside in it.
"Watch your step,"
You turn your attention back to Poseidon who is now several steps behind you, waiting patiently with a laughing smirk on his face in front of a divergence in the path. You have to laugh at yourself for a moment, realizing you got distracted, and continue to follow him.
"So where you from stranger?"
You answer him as you both continue walking, the path slowly working its way along the cliffside, dipping through some caves, until the cliff started to lose its height and you could see a sandy beach several paces ahead of you.
"You seem to have traveled awhile, I myself came from the Fishspine Reef. Lovely area, but I moved here when I was real young. Found love and all that. Have you met Riptide yet? She my wife. You'll meet my kids once we get to the docks. Lovely critters, though a bit chatty."
You nod in acknowledgment and Poseidon begins to pick up the pace as soon as you reach the sandy beach. You spot a long jetty with stone and wood 'docks' spilling out into the sea. Some large boats rock gently on the waves. It doesn't take long to reach the docks. You spy a massive, black and white guardian sitting calmly with a fae sitting on her horns and two young pearlcatchers who seemed to be mocking the seabirds with their squawks.
"Fen! Bracka!"
