He was an unforeseen gift in the eyes of his parents. Though three eggs hatched that fateful day, only one child remained after the Glade took what was owed to it. The first born son of many daughters. His parents were puzzled by him, they had never raised a son before. But something in him seemed odd and off. For a time, many took notice of the subtle darkening in Fangorn & Rainier’s children; Anarion being the darkest. Luthien, his eldest sister, was the most fair and loved by all for her sun-struck green. Anarion was nothing like her. Some speculated that his egg must’ve been enchanted by the vilest thorns of the Labyrinth...He kept to himself, preferring the company of the dangerous kelpies .....
