Biography
A spritely young fellow, Fernwood is the one of the few true druids of the Evergrow clan. No one knows for sure how he came to be; some say he's the spirit of a tree that was destroyed in the battle between Plague warriors and the First Seed. Others think that in an effort to strengthen Nature's forces, the Gladekeeper tried to make a new breed from a root of the Behemoth, but all that came from the effort was Fernwood himself. Still others say that he's just an ordinary dragon with some peculiar tendencies. Fernwood doesn't seem to care what the others think he is. He smiles at every theory and goes on his merry way a few minutes later, bound by nothing but his love for the world around him. Wherever he flies, flowers spring up behind him, and he seems to have a way with almost any familiar. He sings songs of the Gladekeeper, the Fertile Mother, Lifegiver, Great Provider and Untamed Goddess of the Viridian Labyrinth, and his voice is sweeter than any nectar. The runes on his sides pulse with the vitality of the forest around him, and he revels in life abundant from dawn til dusk. However, he is not a passive dragon, and he is known to hunt the creatures of the forest like an untamed beast. Those who have seen him at night or in creeping shadows know he is to be feared; teeth dripping blood and eyes glowing a bright, unfeeling green... he follows no law but that of Nature: Life must thrive through death. He is the voice of the Green Goddess, her bard and disciple, as well as her unfeeling, unremorseful executioner. It is a fine line he walks, between that of killer and caretaker, but he plays his part well.
