Uh-oh, looks like this interplanetary marshal wandered a little too far from his lair (Yawning Dodo, #47970), and now he's off to see the world! If ever you feel the urge to exalt, he'd really appreciate it if you could just return him home instead, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. Feel free to add to his information to tell future owners where he's been; while he's yours you can use any scroll on him you like (though please don't rename him), breed him, etc. Have fun!

Adventure Log: July 29th, 2014-August 6, 2014 Sparks arrived soon after another traveler left, and was faced with the same awkwardness the previous dragon faced: where were the other dragons of his kind? The clan had never seen a Ridgeback before, and the hatchlings especially were in awe of his regal nose-point. The clan welcomed him and, with his forest-like coloring, he fit right in. He was a hot commodity to the ladies, and instantly befriended a spiral named Marsh and a pearlcatcher named Tierzyrook. The latter, whose mate was also traveling, liked to listen to Spark's stories, even if they were ridiculous and involved him fighting steampunk ninjas in space. 7/30/14 Yuffie met Sparks and grew attached. The two got along well, and decided to share a nest together! (I was not expecting three, oh my gosh) 8/4/14 Sparks and Yuffie were excited when two boys and a girl hatched from their clutch. Yuffie was startled by the ridgeback girl at first but soon bonded with her. The male pearlcatchers, however, had wandering eyes like their father and wanted to go off to see the world! Sparks wanted to stay in the clan with Yuffie and his hatchlings until they found their place. Unfortunately, Witchhazel and Frecklefrost, Yuffie and Spark's two sons, were exalted to the Shadowbinder before they had the chance to grow up and share their freckly goodness with the universe. Sparks decided to bid Yuffie and Banshee farewell and move on. He told Banshee that she's the honorary interplanetary general. 20 August 2014 Spark wondered into an Arcane lair, filled mostly with pastel colored dragons. However he didn't quite fit in as the clan's matriarch didn't quite like Ridgebacks, his coloring didn't fit in either. This particular Arcane lair was also facing a shortage of seafood, the only food his kind ate so he stayed for only a while before being on his way again. 22 August 2014 When Sparks found his way into the clan of Parthenon Hill, he was met with much the same situation as many of the other lairs he had visited. Though everyone treated him with respect and kindness, he was the first male Ridgeback to ever set foot into this small Light clan. Feeling oddly out of place, Sparks only stayed for a few days before continuing on his journey throughout the different flights. 24 August 2014 Sparks found his way to a small nature clan. He enjoyed it there and stayed long enough to have a nest with a pretty pearlcatcher. 29 August 2014 His new nest hatched, once again with two pearlcatchers and a ridgeback hatchling, but they were all daughters. Sparks loved them but once again decided to go on his way. Ridgebacks were an oddity in this clan as well. 16 September 2014 Sparks quietly snuck out of a light clan's lair after some commotion. He was the only Ridgeback there, or at least he was. 18 September 2014 After a tiring travel, Sparks found his way into a Clan that was dominated by Ridgebacks. They granted him shelter for the night, but he stayed much longer than that. He felt at home among his kind. 22 September 2014 The Second in Command of the Clan has taken a liking into Sparks and decided to share a nest with him. 27 September 2014 Two healthy sons hatched from the nest and were, after a long talk with Anacrote, sent to serve the Plaguebringer. After they left, Sparks decided it was time that he would move on too and said goodbye to the Hashakgig Clan. 28 September 2014-25 December 2014 He's been moved from the Scarred Wasteland to the Tidelord's domain. Here, he's met friendly dragons and nested a few eggs with a Guardian named Merida. After a few months, he decided it was time to move on. 25 December 2014 Late Christmas night, Sparks returned to the Scarred Wasteland, happening upon another clan in which he was an oddity. Not only was he the only ridgeback here, but he was the first traveler to pass through! They've had new dragons join their lair, but very rarely did one join them without the intention of staying. And they'd never heard of one who was so well-traveled! This new clan of dragons all crowded Sparks in a desire to hear of his travels and offering for him to share in their Christmas festivities and gifts. The party continued on after the holiday, and Sparks stayed for the food and the company. On the 28th he took his leave, wishing all a happy New Year, and hoping the next clan he encountered had a New Year's celebration just as fun as the Christmas celebration of Nostrudamus' clan. 16 January 2015 Sparks spent the New Year and much of January in The Shrieking Wilds of The Viridian Labyrinth. He helped fight off a band of marauding Plague Dragons, winning the respect of Mosshorn and his allies. They offered him stay at their lair and brought him along on skirmishes throughout the Labyrinth. When it was time for him to move on to new things, the shamanistic clan leader bestowed upon Sparks a blessing from the Gladekeeper. Shortly after his departure, a female of the clan laid two eggs, one finding it's way to a good friend of the clan. January - October 2015 After a long journey through strange lands, Sparks returned to his birth clan at long last. Weary from his travels, he settled in and took up sentry duties. He spent some time getting to know his nephew, Dye and spent a little more time getting to know a lady dragon named Cadge (wink wink nudge nudge say no more). Before the year was out, Sparks found himself feeling restless once more, and with the confused blessing of the clan's patriarchal tundra, Increase, he struck out once again to explore the world.

GrinningWolf24 #212075, 6/14/17 He quickly returned to one of his favorite territories to explore- the Scarred Wasteland. He wasn't sure what it was about the Plague territories, but they always seemed so ripe for adventure and exploration. In this particular foray, he came across a clan that was relatively new to the surroundings. They called themselves Namesong and apparently had lived in Wind territory before moving here to train and 'quarantine' themselves. Whatever that meant. They seemed fine to him. Other than that they were all tundras. Intelligent tundras. Tundra scholars. Tundra librarians. The ideas seemed so foreign and juxtaposed. How did that work? Upon having them help fix up his travel journal to be a little newer and sturdier for his travels ahead (though they disappointingly couldn't make it a hologram or a cool steampunk recording device), he found them to truly be as intelligent as their weirdly large library seemed to suggest. His stay was a little strange, what with all the little furry tundras loping about, but the multiple other travelers who were also staying with the clan were good company, and so he was glad to have stopped by.

Chanter, #316862 June 15th 2017 A short hop and skip away was another clan. They called themselves Lair of the Lost. He chuckled at the name knowing that he himself was not lost but a mere traveler. He was welcomed by a fae and a Guardian who he thought of as attached at the hip. But he didn't get to socialize with them very much as they were tending to a rather weak traveler. No matter because he found a Ridgeback just like himself. His name was Jundain. The two bonded as brothers, for neither of them had truly bonded another ridgeback. They talked and talked. After he had settled in for a while, he met a young sky dancer by the name of Gina. She was flawless to him. He wanted her to be his. He talked it over with Jundain and he filled him in on her status. She had recently broken up with her boyfriend so she was available but it would be tricky. He went up to her and was very straight forward and asked her if he could date her. She was uncertain at first and said she would answer later. A day or so later, she accepted. He was overjoyed. They went on a few dates then they decided that they were ready to have children together. He loved his four children and Gina but was so restless. He flew off in the middle of the night with no warning.
