Biography
Ridgebacks are known to borrow, and Berry Swamp is no exception. However, while some people may be begrudge her for wanting to steal a necklace, Berry's main interests like in stealing... larger, more important items. Like eggs. And hatchlings. Amonstra had never really considered kidnapping adoption before befriending Berry, but Berry's skill at raising and borrowing young convinced the matriarch immediately.
Now that Berry has a cared for more than a dozen eggs or younglings, her desire to kidnap has diminished. Scouts bring any lost young dragons in, and it's Berry who nurses wounds and feeds the infants. Despite her massive size, she is gentle and tender, and definitely not a fighter.
Berry and Garnet Spike joined the clan together, having spent time together before. Garnet may be younger, but it was his love of a big family like his own that encouraged her to her infant borrowing ways. Berry would do anything for her family, and especially anything for Garnet, who is the primary caregiver of their many many young.
