It takes a strong sense of one’s self to break away from one close knit group and return to the one that was left behind, and the successful transition from waves of sand that the Dune Wanderer’s traverse back into the arms of the tides shows the conviction that is present in this dragon. The revelation of The Star in this position to describe him stands as evidence to his determination and confidence. He can withstand the strongest storms, and other dragons recognize that in him as well and even if he’s not personally aware of this trait he accepts the few that come to shelter the storms at his side. This card also speaks to a renewed faith, this could be in a deity, himself or even a cause, no matter what it is he believes in it has become like an anchor for him to cast into the waves, and it keeps him oriented and strong. This strong sense of faith and purpose has manifested in his consistent trips bearing gifts and trinkets to the Dune Wanderers. Overall, he is calm, steadfast and optimistic.

Although this renewed faith and the conviction that has come with it has brought more benefit than harm, the path ahead is uncharted and treacherous. There may be those that have grown close to him and without even realizing it his tight grip on his hope and faith may have pushed them away instead of drawing them in. Perhaps they came to him because of his calm presence, but instead of acknowledging a connection that may have arisen from being that rock, he instead continues forward, his eyes ever forward on the path ahead. At it’s core, this card represents a contradiction, it speaks of his confidence in who he is now, but there’s also a part of him that sees this path as a regretful one with his thoughts and memories constantly being thrown back into the past. This card also represents a dangerous choice to where he could be presented with a chance to turn his back on his hope and faith for what may appear to be something better at the time but will turn him directly into the face of chaos.

The future ahead of him presents a place where all the choices he’s made, every inch of the path he’s traveled will be subject to judgment. He will be faced with all the things he’s done, the good, the bad, the middle ground, everything will be brought to light even if it’s been buried for a long time. Perhaps a crime he was party to while he was a pirate has caught up with him and haunts his waking hours. This future could be a place where he’s tired of running from what he’s done and he makes a conscious choice to see the wrongs righted, misunderstandings corrected and his sins laid bare no matter the cost of his personal standing. But he doesn’t run from this justice, he faces it with his head held high and confidence that what he has done is right.

In Summary,
The biggest thing that stands out is the character of this dragon, that he is resolute and adaptable, even in the worst storms. The path that lies ahead is not one many can tread without stumbling off and succumbing to the ease that chaos can present, he remains steadfast in the faith and hope he found by returning to the ocean's embrace and that conviction is what helps to carry him through. While it’s not certain whether his future faced with justice is brought about by a choice made on his tumultuous path that lies ahead of him, or if it’s always been his fate to face what he’s done, nor is it certain what that judgment will be once it is passed. What is certain is that no matter what happens, he will face it head on without hesitation or fear. He’s found his place, and more importantly, his comfort in the hope he has found and that will help withstand anything that is thrown his way.
