Fion is a painter, but not just any painter- he is the best finger-painter around. With his small hands and deft, sharp claws, he can create incredible detail in any lanscape or portrait. When he was a hatchling he used different-colored ore and mud, and he would smear it all over walls, tree trunks, himself- anything he could get his claws on. That was how he ended up in 'Sabre's clan- he painted the stone guard-wall around the lair while he was out playing. 'Sabre saw his infantile art, liked it, and thought he would be a nice addition, and so she tracked him down and acquired him from his (very frustrated) parents.

Now that he's grown up, he paints on actual canvases with actual goache and oils, which he mixes himself using the ores and ingredients he finds on gathering trips. He makes enough paint to supply all the other painters in the clan too- then he gives his finished works over to Babylas to be sold, for the benefit of the clan. He's happy to contribute, now that he has a home where he and his talents are accepted, and even useful.
