Leader in Troubled Times

______ This lair is unlike most lairs. The dragons within it do not make up one large group, but instead several small groups that try to coexist within this large tract of land. They lived in general peace (though some hostilities were always present. Dragons came and went and no dragon would bat and eye. However when all the members of the Darkwing Cult disappeared for no explained reason anger flared and the groups began to take sides.

______ So it came to pass that something had to be done. The infighting was so bad it was required that a diplomat was brought in to sort out the mess that had been left behind. This dragon would be declared leader of the lair and would hold authority over all. They were to act of a judge and listen to both sides of the argument. .

______ That was how Rona was invited into the lair. Rona has, what one might call, the patience of a god. They are blessed with clarity of mind and a massive amount of empathy. When invited into this position Rona made it clear to all that theycared for each individual group and they would not be taking sides. They were true to their word and because of this are trusted by each group, no matter what sorts of goals the might have.

______ Rona did not come to this lair as a hatching, but instead a full grown dragon. Searching for their place in the world they traveled near and far until the infighting of this tract of land drew them in. Many candidates were being looked through by the different sections, though none could agree who would be best. When Rona arrived though, they quickly placated the rowdy group and all those who were near them began to feel a sense of undeniable ease.

______ One of Rona's first actions upon entering the lair was to have each group elect a speaker to represent them. For some it was merely a speaker for their family group, for others they spoke for a much larger population of dragons who shared similar interest. With this method Rona can now hold council meetings without having a bunch of angry dragons shouting up at them, instead allowing that anger to be expressed through a singular voice instead of many overlapping.

______ But what of the matters of the Darkwing Cult? The arguments till rages, but it has been contained due to Rona's skillful handling of the issue. They seek to gather more information about all of the separate groups and they hope, with a little time and effort, they will be able to bring everyone together into a firm community. This is merely speculation for the future, but Rona likes a challenge, though in this case they may not fully understand the magnitude of the task they have set up for themselves.
