No-one's quite sure how he came into Tarn's possession, but one thing is clear: Wave is old, very old, and he's regarded as untouchable like Fenyx. He seems to enjoy the status, often found sunning himself on the rocks outside in the main clearing.

That's not to say he can't defend himself if provoked, and a number of the younger members have found themselves on the wrong end of his teeth.

He and Ira seem to get along, and neither appear to mind Ira's incapable of producing eggs.

He doesn't seem to notice he keeps changing colours.
