History
He began life thinking he could overcome all obstacles. If he tried hard enough and was good in his intentions things would work out for him. Unfortunately good intentions don’t always overcome prejudice and suspicion. Betrayed by love, abused by authorities he chose to live in near isolation deadening his senses using any means possible, just to get by. Then Harper showed up, requesting his help on a project. How did he even know about me? Belimai was intrigued by Harper and his sense of purpose. He found in Harper someone he could trust, someone worth returning to life for, a friend who returned Belimai’s loyalty and trust. Harper convinced Belimai to come with him to this library. A place of refuge in a harsh world. Belimai found a world where he was accepted, and even loved. He threw himself at his work. And with the help of his dear friend broke free from his addictions.
