Biography

Y9I69cz.png Juno - Warrior

Juno was once a crusader for the Lightweaver's cause, and a notable enough fighter that she earned the nickname "the bloodstained imp" - imp being short for imperial of course, though some dragons would use the title ironically, since Juno was anything but small or mischievous, as imps are known to be.

She was known to be a no-nonsense type. Often strict, and unlikely to show mercy to her enemies, or even to soldiers under her command. This gave her a rather negative reputation among those of lower rank, but she was popular with those that ranked above her, since her ruthless methods usually produced the results they were looking for.

Despite her reputation for enforcing obedience, she still held a reasonable amount of self-preservation. So when the Lightweaver started calling imperials a mistake, - one the goddess herself intended to fix - Juno fled. It wasn't her proudest moment, but to this day she will maintain that she doesn't regret the decision. Better to live as an outcast than willingly go to die out of loyalty to a god that no longer cares for her own creations.

Juno moved to a territory near the edge of the Lightweaver's realm. She was reluctant to leave everything she had ever known behind, yet she wanted to be as far from the god's watchtower as possible. There, she met a pearlcatcher named Vaughn, who later became her mate. She wasn't (and still isn't) particularly attached to him, but they had similar goals in mind, or at least, similar gods they distrust.
