A large minotaur lopes her way across the grasslands, a flock of fluffy sheep wandering after her, a Hainu directing those that stray away. She makes her way to a large rock, sits with a sigh, and takes her lunch break, pulling a honey cake and a bottle from her bag. Her shaggy, spotted fur waves in the breeze. A lamb comes up to her, pushing its little head into her large hand. She offers it a bit of the cake, which it delicately takes before trotting back off to its mother.

Merle is relaxed. That's the best descriptor for her. She's very calm, though always with one eye on her flock. Gentle and laid-back, friendly but generally keeps to herself. One can often hear her voice drifting over the plains as she sings to her flock. She wanders with them across the grasslands, only bringing them back to town once a week or so. After all, very few predators would mess with a minotaur of her size. She loves her girlfriend, Bluebell, but she's very busy. They value the little time they have together.

Merle was born to a herd of minotaur warriors, always planned to be a warrior herself. But things don't always go as planned. Still, her life went well. The clan gave her a couple sheep to tend to, she has Bluebell, and now one of her herdmates has made a home here as well. Now she leads a flock of dozens, giving their wool to the weaver, Locke.
