He has seen the world twice over and he has no desire to see it again. There is nothing out there, but heartache and misery.

The Fates have not been kind to him; he is Marked by ill-luck and tragedy.

His mates and hatchlings are gone, lost to him whether they've gone to serve a god or simply fallen into an everlasting sleep. Either way, there is little hope that they will ever meet again.

Once, that thought drove him to the edge. He'd gone in search of... well, to the young and foolish, he would say "answers". But that is not necessarily the truth.

He did not expect or desire to leave the Tangled Wood once he entered it. But somehow, he had stumbled across a dragon clan and one of their Guardians had dragged him under his wing.

He still mourns the loss of his family, but it does not consume him like it once did. His Guardian is always close by and constantly bringing him trinket-gifts.
