In all your walking, you seem to have, yet again, ended up outside of the crystal formation. You really aren't sure how or why it seems to happen, especially since you've yet to actually see an exit or entrance with your own eyes. This time feels different, though, almost as if you're not in the same region as before... as if you've somehow left the Starfall Isles (or perhaps Sornieth entirely). Around you are light, vibrant colors, plants and creatures of all shapes and sizes, the beauty of which seems almost unnatural and artificial.
"Hello, child," a pink Bogsneak greets you and your gaze snaps to the dragon responsible for the sound. "Are you lost, by chance?" Was she there this whole time? You looked over there and didn't see any dragons before, but here she is. But yes, you are lost... at least you feel lost, however that has yet to be technically proven. Her wings... they almost look like fairy wings... no, no, that's just a gene some dragons display, it can't be that... there's something oddly hazy about her, as if you can't ever focus completely on her.
"Should I take your silence and expression as affirmation?" She lets out a bemused laugh that seems to carry on the wind like chimes, much longer than any regular laugh should. The sunlight is warm on your skin, pale and golden. The blurriness surrounding her slowly spreads across the rest of your vision, and... are those plants moving? Surely it's just the breeze, right? "You're welcome to stay in the garden as long as you like, but if you plan on leaving, I'd suggest you hurry on your way." A part of you registers the implications of such a statement, but your body doesn't seem to understand the urgency of the matter. Your eyelids become heavy, almost impossible to keep open, your legs feel like jelly beneath you and struggle to keep you upright. Just before you collapse, you feel something tug at you from behind...
You awake on the floor of a cave, atop soft hides and pelts, staring up at the crystalline ceiling.
