Young entrepreneur with her whole life ahead of her.
She has no close friends because she tends to build a wall between her and anyone she meets.
Her mother still comes to her almost every day begging her for more treasure, but Sapphire knows that it is only to buy raffle tickets.
Her mother has had a gambling problem for as long as Sapphire can remember, and she lost her home to it.
Now she has no clan and no place to call home, but Sapphire doesn’t care.
Her mother was so mean to her as a child, and now Sapphire is leaving her mother to deal with this herself.

One day she was flying alone in an empty meadow complaining to herself about her needy mother when a Cat with a pretty orange coat popped out of the bushes, scaring Sapphire.
A gorgeous dragon proceeded to emerge from the brush, and that’s when Sapphire met Layla.
She was so pretty.
How could a dragon be so beautiful?
But Sapphire held it together and didn’t show any signs that she liked her more than others.
After that encounter in the meadow they went out to scavenge together, and Layla even taught her how to fish!
She knew she just had to keep this up and not show anyone how she really felt about Layla.
But she hoped some part of Layla liked her too.
