personality Novus is a sweet and innocent child. He is wildly known as the little brother of the Cave Dwellers. Everyone does everything in their power to make sure that he is safe and happy at all times. Novus is very curious and adventurous. While he loves his life with his mom, Aevitas, and all his siblings, he wants to see the world. He likes learning new things and learning more about the world. His favorite thing to do is hear stories about the world. He longs to drag his family along and explore all the caves and see where they lead. backstory Novus, by all accounts, was supposed to be a black dragon. At most, he was supposed to have slight blue tints. And his eyes were supposed to be just blue, but the hatchling came out of his egg under the light of the gods; the northern lights. The shimmering black hatchling lifted his eyes to the sky and soon they were stained with the lights. His scales followed shortly after, taking on more vibrant green hues. Taking it as a sign from the gods, Novus' parents left him. They abandoned their stained child and joined the fight for dominance. Novus, blinded by the light and with nowhere to go, wandered. In his blind wandering, he found himself somewhere very cold and damp. Eventually he ran into something large and soft. His vision cleared and he found himself in the arms of a kind looking imperial. Having never seen his own mother, he immediately clung to the imperial, thinking her to be his mother. She accepted happily and never let her stained son be abandoned again. job All Novus does is be cute. He follows everyone else around and learns about their jobs, claiming to be an apprentice. He frequently tries to drag others with him to go adventuring. He owns a plethora of costumes to wear during his adventures, including, but not limited to, a pirate hat, a ghost costume, a crown, and antlers. He also refers to himself as 'Bossdad's Favorite Intern.' He is a devout worshipper of the Stormcatcher and somehow manages to get everyone else just as excited for Thundercrack Carnival. His favorite dragon to hang out with is Oleum, because he feels like when he works with her, he learns more about what Bossdad would want him to do. He feels like he's doing the kind of work that other lightning dragons do. |
