Coliseum Warrior
"Novice pirates make terrible singers because they can't hit the high seas!" Phoenix is an adrenaline junkie. He loves danger and the thrill it brings him- he throws himself into such situations to feel that rush. Safe to say this doesn't always leave him unscathed, and he has the scars to prove that. He's intrinsically selfish; his hobby could put anyone with him in danger after all; but he care for Lind and Magy due to the relationship they've cultivated over time as comrades. Since he loves the hunt he's the one who takes charge in the coliseum, even if he makes a pretty poor leader, what with his reckless tendencies and non existent planning. He is a skilled fighter, having no regard for his own safety and crashing into his enemies like a 8.7 ton spike-y tank. Out of the fight he's no less ferocious, harbouring an easily fired up passion for anything that draws his attention for more than 5 seconds. He will then defend whatever his new passion is tooth and claw. This puts him in yet more fights, which he enjoys immensely. There is something he would rather keep hidden- he cannot read, nor write. This is not usually an issue with his job; he doesn't need to write things down or read anything. Once it's revealed to other dragons however, he can see the pity in their eyes. Suddenly, their respect falls and they talk to him like a child and he hates it. He normally has to be restrained before he attacks out of pure frustration. The one thing most dragons notice about him however are not the scars, nor his illiteracy, but his love for puns. He can barely go 2 sentences without a groan inducing pun. He thinks they're hilarious but other dragons think he's a pain- they're just being party poopers. Nothing can stop the pun train. Nothing. |
