▸▸ CHARISMA

While Kin absolutely prefers to use her physical prowess rather than any kind of charm, she is very good at manipulation and her charismatic nature helps with that. She can very easily make you feel like she’s got her eyes on you in the good way, and then lay you out.

▸▸ COMBAT

Kin’s strong suit lies in combat. She is quick-thinking and fast on her feet, able to trip up enemies much larger than her using her experience and intelligence. While she is not usually one for showing off, she would never pass up an opportunity to show off her moves.

▸▸ INTELLIGENCE

Smart from birth, Kin is not one to show off her intelligence often. Her strength means more to her than her brain, although both of them help to keep her alive and get her through difficult battles.

▸▸ WISDOM

Although she has lived for quite some time and knows a thing or two, Kin is not what one might call wise. She is very hot-headed and headstrong, often charging right into situations without giving it a second thought. She is also not the dragon you would come to for any kind of good advice.

▸▸ LUCK

Kin is not exactly known for her luck, though it is slightly better than her wisdom. She is also not a firm believer in luck and prefers to place her bets on her own abilities rather than something like luck that cannot be measured firmly.

▸▸ MAGIC

Being a Mirror, her magic handling ability is not particularly high, but because she is Lightblessed and her abilities do tie into magic use, she is able to handle it quite well. While it is definitely not one of her stronger points, and she could probably train to do better, she is more interested in physical things.

▸▸ VITALITY

She is rather average in the area of vitality, neither being particularly fragile nor very sturdy. She does not take kindly to being called average, however, so it is best to watch your tongue when around her.

▸▸ CONSTITUTION

Unfortunately, though her magic level is decent, her constitution is not as good. She is often unable to focus and she certainly has a hard time focusing on things that do not keep her attention well to begin with. Her constitution is rather low and she has difficulty forcing herself to do things.

▸▸ DEXTERITY

Her dexterity is actually rather good for a Mirror, and Kin is very nimble. Some call her swift-pawed because of how quickly she can work with her claws. Again, this is one of the skills she prides herself in more because she sees it as being more important than other skills that do not involve physicality.

★ CAT’S FEET Increases stealth stats when in the dark or fog. Tied into Charisma and Dexterity.

★ DIRTY PAWS Increases strength and combat stats when HP is at ⅓ or less. Tied into Combat and Vitality.

★ HEART OF GOLD Allows this dragon to take damage for another dragon in their place if their HP is at ⅓ or less. Tied into Charisma and Combat.

★ THE SIGHT Her Lightblessed ability, she is able to effectively control another dragon’s body by looking through their eyes and experiencing their life through their body. This is a difficult thing to control and as such she rarely uses it. Tied into Magic, Intelligence, Charisma, and Constitution.

» FORWARD-THINKING Kin is nothing if not always looking forward. She wants her Clan to be up to date on everything they need to be up to date on, and as such does not allow slacking off in her ranks. While dragons can choose to remove themselves from technology, willful ignorance is not tolerated.

» LOYAL When Kin becomes friends with you, she would and will die for you. Her loyalty is not something she gives out on a whim, though, and as such it is incredibly difficult to actually get close enough to her to become her friend. Although it is not hard to get along with her, becoming actual friends with her is a much different story.

» DEPENDABLE If Kin says she is going to do something, then she will do it for you. You do not have to worry about her taking back her word or not being able to do it. She will push herself to the brink in order to get things done if she has to, which is something her mate needs to watch out for.

» HARD-HEADED Typical to the Mirror breed, Kin is hot-blooded and hard-headed. When she makes up her mind on something it is nearly impossible to change it. She is not interested in debating or hearing the other side, either, as she is convinced that her way is the right way and there is simply no other way.

» AGGRESSIVE Kin is easy to anger and quick to fight and snap back. She is not one to back away from a challenge and will quickly throw herself into a fight if she thinks she is right (which is the majority of the time). She is not shy about baring her fangs.

» DIFFICULTY COMMUNICATING Often times Kin does not know how to properly express her feelings or communicate with others. She is more used to others simply being able to understand when she needs or wants something rather than having to tell them.

Gora is Kin’s mate, and they have been together ever since they were relatively young. While they were friends at first, they quickly fell in love, and ever since have been very nearly inseparable. The two have a love that is pure and wholesome, and Kin would go to the ends of hell and back if it meant that Gora would be alright. She is monogamous to her and only her, and has no plans of taking any more mates.

Ninkloah was the first member of the Clan besides Kin and Gora, and is also Kin’s battle partner alongside Gora. Although Nink is usually very prickly and closed off to others, they were quick to warm up to Kin and do not mind being around her or sharing their feelings with her.

Being the Clan’s medicine dragon, Kin has a close relationship with Fah. She and Fah have a close bond because Kin saved Fah’s life, and Fah feels as though he owes her back for that and does his best to take care of the Clan she loves so much.

Nira and Kin do not get along very well. Although Nira has taken up the role of Fah’s primary mate and appears to care for him, Kin does not trust her due to an incident neither of them speak of. She specifically does not trust Nira around her children and will keep them from her with great prejudice.

⟨ EARLY LIFE ⟩

Kin was born an only child, a rarity among Mirrors, as they tend to multiply quite plentifully. Because she was an only child, her parents worked her twice as hard as they would have had she not been the only pup in her litter. She was quickly able to realize her importance in the pack, begin the Alpha’s daughter and oldest child. She was going to be expected to take over the Pack when she came of age, and that would involve exiling her mother, the current Alpha.

Because of how she was raised, Kin had very little emotional connection to her family. Her father mentored her, however that did not matter in the scheme of things. Being a rather plain creature, no one expected anything great of her. Little did they know, however, that a great power brewed within her, ready to be released at any moment. She was simply waiting for the right time to show it.

Her parents knew about her being Lightblessed, and encouraged her to hide her abilities because of the fear that she may be killed over it. As hard-headed as she was and is, however, Kin decided her Pack should take her or leave her how she was, and one day demonstrated her power for a group of gathered dragons. Thanks to this, she was thrown out of the Pack and had to take care of herself.

⟨ RECENT PAST ⟩

For quite some time, Kin was unsure of what to do. She had never been on her own, and quickly found herself failing at supporting herself alone. She became hungry and tired, and the longer she went without making a kill, the harder it would be to make one. Certain she was going to die alone and disgraced, she dragged herself to an open terrace and laid down, hoping death would come for her quickly.

Instead of death, however, Kin was given life. A female Guardian had been passing through the area, feeling the buzzing of her Charge getting stronger, and also seeking a place where she could live peacefully. She came across the exhausted Kin and, rather than leave her behind to die, took her to a shady place and caught food for her. When Kin woke, she immediately tried to retaliate, asking the Guardian why she had taken pity on her. The Guardian replied to her saying that her name was Goraantuz and that she had not taken pity on Kin. Rather, she had simply sensed that Kin was like her and wanted to speak with her before setting off again.

Curious, Kin allowed Gora to speak with her, and after they got to talking, Gora and Kin both quickly became convinced that it would be better for the two of them to stay together. They were stronger as a pair than they would have been separated. Gora had a physical power Kin could never achieve because of her size, but she also had something else that Kin envied: beauty. Gora was also blessed with a more charming personality, and the ability to convince others to join with them.

For a long time, Gora and Kin wandered around in the lands of Light. Gora revealed that she, too, was Lightblessed, though her ability was different than Kin’s. She was able to manipulate light to create illusions and hallucinations, and with their abilities combined, Kin knew they would be able to protect each other. Even so, Gora needed to find her charge, and she had a feeling she knew what it was: she needed to find one dragon from each Flight to serve and protect for the rest of their lives. That was her Charge.

Enamored with this incredible Guardian, Kin decided she wanted to be the Light dragon for Gora to protect, though she did note that she was perfectly capable of fighting on her on, she simply wished to help Gora with her search. At the time, Gora was unaware that Kin had any romantic feelings for her, and in all honesty, Kin was unaware of it herself. At the time, she simply saw it as loyalty.

Over time, Gora and Kin were able to collect and build what they referred to as the Council; the group of dragons they would be protecting. All of them were Godblessed in one way or another, and they all relied on each other. Eventually, Gora and Kin began to fall for each other, and finally realized that they were in love and their feelings were reciprocated. It was not long after that when they began warming a nest.

⟨ PRESENT ⟩

Currently, Kin leads her still small Clan in a great battle of survival. Kin’s old Pack has returned and now wishes to control the land that Clan Mahlaandun currently controls, and Kin is not willing to give it up. Her son, Olbriikod, wishes to become Alpha in her place, and tries to do everything he can to show he should be the one to take over. However, it is quite clear that Kin favors her daughter Kreinmidklo to take over in her place. This has caused a rift between the two siblings that she has unsuccessfully tried to mend.

While war has not officially been declared yet, Kin feels as though it will not be long before something happens in the Clan. She knows that her old Pack will not be laying low for much longer, and it is simply a matter of when, not if, they will attack. Thanks to this, she has been working her Clanmates even harder than usual, helping the Godblessed ones to build up their power and helping the others to become strong as well. Recently, she has had to take time away from training due to getting pregnant again.

This may yet turn out to be a dangerous choice.
