Biography

Gilded
Of The Red Garden

Gender:
Male

Role:
Gilded is one of the Horrors Beneath, a fallen pantheon of forgotten gods locked within the depths of the Coral Catacombs. He was the God of Growth and Survival, but his powers are not what they once were. He dwells in the Red Garden, a twisted part of the Catacombs that is crawling with grotesque parodies of plants and other "living" things alongside horribly mutated flora and fauna. His once great powers of healing now cause some frightening side effects.

Personality:
Despite his horrifying powers, Gilded is a kind soul. He is very shy and timid, and it can be quite hard to hear him with how softly he speaks. He cares for his mangled garden and all that live in it. He especially enjoys having guests and company, though his power has rotted, he still eagerly tries to help those that find him.

His method of helping is dangerous.

Because his healing powers mutate their target in horrible, unintended ways, Gilded is very insecure about them. Upset by the changes those he tries to help suffer, he keeps them in his garden, where he believes them to be safe from the judgement and danger of the outside world. He turns a deaf ear to his victims' pleads, assuring them that this is for the best and those that continue to resist find themselves tethered and bound to the Red Garden's plant life or lost within its ever-shifting forest forever.

Familiar:
If anyone were to look at Vinerot, they'd say he is one of the biggest Stranglers ever seen. He is in just as twisted of a shape as the rest of Gilded's garden, mutated and covered in unusual plant life and fungi. He is Gilded's most valuable companion, and is always seen next to him. He guards the Red Garden vigilantly, making sure nothing gets in.
Or Out.
