Biography
:V
Daughter of Xam and Scamp.
Lore
Her red and orange body blends in with the scarlet cliffs in which she dwells. With her bright wings tucked in close, she is nigh invisible in the shadows. Hallow lives a solitary life, away from the clan. Strange, for a mirror. She's feral, and hunts the goats and other beasts that feed upon the coarse grasses growing high above the Shattered Plane.
Hallow determined that she did not have the temperment for a sedentary, civilized life underground. Her family did not begrudge her this, it is not an uncommon fate for an earth dragon. Hallow is impatient, and quick tempered. Since she was a hatchling she had been full of a perpetual restless energy. She could only be calmed by long, quiet hunts in the mountains. Although capable of speech, Hallow does so rarely. Instead she attempts to get her point across through growling, hissing, and posturing.
There are whispers in the caverns. Rumors tell a tale of how the once honorable Princess Hallow was possessed by a vengeful spirit from a distant realm. There is yet more talk of family drama and past hurts, that drove Hallow to distance herself from her peers. Sleet believes she knows better, and pays the gossip little mind. Her granddaughter is simply a wild and untamable soul, as she herself had been in her youth.
Hallow is tolerated by her clanmates. Her ferocity keeps the beastclans at bay; and she is still royalty afterall. Even if she has abandoned her position, she is afforded a great deal of respect.
Hallow may return to the caverns during the leaner months, when prey is scarce. She tries not to be caught pilfering food from the gathering piles, sticking close to the walls. Tactfully, no one mentions that they have seen her.
On such occasions, she might sneak into her childhood friends' den to say hello. Or rather, affectionately but heads with her, unable to find words. Mars is always happy to see that Hallow and her spirit companion have survived another year.
