Biography
The older brother of the two, Alnitak is a bit of a troublemaker. He likes trying out new things, and oftentimes they don't quite work as intended.
He's a bit bitter at his younger brother Alcor, who is the smallest of the bunch and is cared for the most dotingly. After all, if the Nocturne knocks something over on accident it's not his fault in the eyes of their parents, but if one of Alnitak's experiments goes wrong, his parents blame him! It's unfair in his eyes, and so Alnitak sometimes liked to tease Alcor whenever his parents weren't looking. Back then, Alcor couldn't speak yet, so he couldn't rat him out.
Alnitak often thought he'd love it if Alcor just vanished one day, but when that actually happened, he turned out to be far more distraught than he thought he'd be. He learnt that it was not a good feeling to be comforted and cared for more closely by his parents and sister for a reason like this. He's really relieved when they find out Alcor is alive and well - even if he does his best to not show it openly - and secretly apologizes to his brother.
"I had to try it, okay? How could I have known it doesn't work?"
