The son of the knight Yutzuki, Noct is an adept fighter with a serious streak.

Trained by his mother, Noct grew up under the pressure of being one of the few fighters in the clan. Because of this, he tends to take his role too seriously and has trouble taking it easy. Often times, he can be found patrolling the edges of their lair, keeping an eye out for the various beasts and creatures of Starwood Strand.

With the pressure to live up to all that his mother expects of him, doubled with the safety of his clan, Noct finds the most comfort from Vika, his familiar, and his close friend, Winthal. The pair grew up together as hatchlings and have been close ever since. Noct actually credits Winthal for meeting his snail familiar, Vika.
Winthal had wandered deep into the Starwood Strand, and Noct, as always, followed close behind. The pair eventually stumbled upon a crystal clear pool filled with the unmistakable smell of salt water. It was there that Noct met Vika.
