There's a glitch in her code.

No one else can understand this. The others can't see what she sees. How flat and lifeless the world truly is, molded from two-dimensional pictures puppeteered to mimic movement. Nobody ever truly moves or eats. The Fairgrounds is quiet, in contrast to what she knows a "fairgrounds" should be like. Their clothes don't move. The familiars don't speak.

She sees the code that forms the world, flickering and changing as the world changes. Shadows watch from somewhere above her, but she can't do much about them.

The Ones Who Are Tainted understand her. They're like her, but not really. Strange instances occur around them, for they unknowingly corrupt the code they touch. She knows this because she sees it happening.

They can't see the code, but witnessing them alter it assures her that she is not insane. Or at least, as insane as other dragons think. She still sees the world as a weird collection game, played by beings beyond comprehension, but at least there is prove of what she sees.
