Biography

The Ultimate Undying

Siron's past is, arguably, the most wild and unbelievable within the clan-and this is within a clan with such members as those that return from the dead and those that are literal elemental cannons. His story starts with his presumed ending; an accidental death at the hands of Rauken when they were both young Plague dragons out to prove themselves the better survivor of the wastelands. Of course, he hadn't known it at the time, perceiving the then Tundra to be a freakish mage that relished in taking out the competition. It is unknown what force caused him to return from the dead, theories ranging from him receiving the Plaguebringer's blessing to the Shade reaching out and granting his wish to him returning through sheer anger. All that is known is that he came back very large, very angry, very ravenous... and very undying. Many came to fear the grey mirror without a pack, an apex predator of the Wasteland who seemed insatiable. Poisonous fumes and sludge preceded him and followed in his wake, as he seemed to rival even the Plaguemother's capability to spread destruction. And even sustaining mortal wounds or his gluttony causing him to outright explode didn't stop him. He simply pulled himself together and resumed his reign of terror.

One day, he learned part of what came of the Tundra from that day, and he sought him out. He'd heard of the clan's peculiarities, but it didn't matter; nothing had stopped him to this point, and he was set on getting his revenge and raiding the clan's apparent ample larder. So he strode into the Zephyr Plateau and encountered one of the new dragons to arrive on Sornieth; Gaolers. Specially it was a white and yellow furred one that looked oddly familiar. And when he demanded to see the diminutive fur ball that bursted him so long ago, he received the first shock he had in a long while. That "diminutive fur ball" had grown huge. It caused him a momentary lapse in confidence, though he nevertheless tried to beat him... and in turn was mortally wounded. Then he came back to life and tried again. This time he got blown up again. The clan didn't intervene during these encounters, some finding it an entertaining event to observe whenever Siron came back to fight Rauken.

This continued on for a few days as the pair continued to cross talons and abilities, and Siron was left to test his apparent invincibility again and again. Finally, one of the clan's chefs intervened, asking what the mirror wanted so badly from them, other than the life of one of it's Shade hunters. He bellowed that it was food and supplies that brought him there as well. So he was offered food... and when the clan's supplies proved greater than his capacity (and he gradually found out taking on the rest of the clan would prove as, if not more, difficult than fighting Rauken), he was brought inside and Rauken and he had a nonviolent talk, in which the Tundra explained that the spell he cast back then was completely unintentional. And when asked how exactly Siron kept returning to life, or even had many of the other abilities he used, the subdued mirror had no answer as he questioned whether he wanted to use these new powers he had trying, and failing to get revenge.

It was then he was offered a position in the clan, much to his surprise as Rauken was one of the ones to vouch for him. He accepted, electing to take on several roles, such as combat trainer, explorer, bounty hunter, and one of the few non-Gaoler dragons to become a Shade Hunter. For he had a great deal of strength and seemingly no fear; a perfect combination for hunting creatures that required great strength and a lack of fear. And of course, the rivalry between him and Rauken still continues. Only now, in addition to debating whose skills are better, it also involved who can bring down the most Shade Creatures and who can polish off the most meals. In essence, they've gone from bitter enemies to jovial allies.
