An ancient Amalgamate, Legion has existed just as long as the Labyrinthe has. The last in Auranth's fallen clan, Legion stalks the corridors and has no interests other than hunger. They would never harm a hatchling without cause and often view their immortality as a blessing and curse in one.
Having devoured so many creatures, both assimilating and consuming, Legion has lost all sense of singularity. Taking any traits that they like from their prey once devoured, Legion has many enhanced senses and skills that any normal being just cannot sustain in one body. The pearl they carry is a kind of chest where every soul of the assimilated resides.
Legion has no memory of their life before but recalls an Imperial named Cainhurst and a Pearlcatcher named Auranth as allies and friends. It is the only thing they retain from their previous life. Legion often talks to themselves so they are never truly lonely. They seem to recall a kind of closeness to Cainhurst and a vague sense of agony whenever they recall the large Imperial.
