Traversing one's way through the various obstacles of bones and animal carnage, of the Abiding Boneyard, is extremely difficult and arduous to most dragons but to Valdis, it's the polar opposite. Valdis grew up in Sorineth's most inhumane region; the Scarred Wasteland. He was one of the few, wild dragons, he lived with his family as a hatchling with a quite idyllic life for a Plague dragon. Soon though a rival dragon named Kaz, he was a blood-red Imperial dragon, he had large fluorescent eyes and hard-steel claws; that easily tore meat. Valdis' father Davik; a bright blue Coatl dragon who was surprisingly resilient. They initiated a duel they fought 'till sunrise. Unfortunately, Davik had lost, nearly dead he laid on rock, blood oozing out of him. Kaz entered Vadis' home, attempting to kill Valdis as a hatchling, but his mother Bronwen defended him and fought him, she called him to leave and go as far away as possible, scared, and confused, He ran away, far... soon he reached the Rotrock Rim, hardly breathing. He rested for the night here, afraid and uncertain. The night passed by and he was safe, but looming ahead of him where men, they were jackets, made of dragon-hide, dark plead trousers, beanies, and boots. He was almost certain these were dragon-dealers. Valdis ran backwards, but then, THWACK! A whip hit him, making him fall on the floors, with wets. They caught him and put him on their horse-drawn carts, filled with other unfortunate hatchlings. They were headed to the Auction House. He was sold for a high-price of 20,000 treasure; no one bought him until an old man saw him and was piqued; he was bought. He had him for a long time he grew up in this mug of a man's clan until one day he gave him to a lovely, kind new dragon-owner named 'Vyvienne' who raised him, he was happier here still shy, and meek; but felt better and had a special bond with this girl. He soon learned about the news of his parents recovery and that they had owners too, he was very excited to learn that they were alive and well. He never had such happiness in his life.
