Saerylith is a witch who travels Sornieth “aiding” those who seek her out with her spells. Saerylith’s familir, a Spellbound Tome, was created after a brew gone wrong during her apprenticeship. Now, the partial sentient book helps with menial tasks, such as fetching ingredients, and is occasionally known to provide Saerylith with secret knowledge from within its pages should the right circumstances occur.

Little is known of Saerylith’s background; the only thing anyone can be sure of is her Plague birth. Strange things tend to occur when she is near; ranging from harmless, temporary hexes to full-blown murder, but which depends on her client and mood. Saerylith’s...activities are known throughout Sornieth, but very few know it was her.

When not travelling Saerylith often sets up a stand at the nearest market performing the usual crystal ball type party tricks, most of whom are unaware do not work contrary to popular belief. On the other hand, Saerylith will offer up her other ‘services’ to the right customer. These dragons are usually desperate for a solution to whatever their problem. However, not all of them are willing to pay the price...
