Shine is, appropriately, the keeper of the hoard and wishlist of the clan. He also acts as an accountant, keeping watch over how much is spent and where. He has an affinity for shiny things, a trait passed down to his son, yet, ended bitterly as Karat became more...crazed over his extremity. Unlike his son though, Shine is a warm soul that wishes for good prosperity upon everyone.
