Biography
Patina was never known for his patience. Even as a hatchling, he tried to leave the nest and venture ahead. This behavior never really ended. In fact, if you ask him, it's what led him to his heart and soul, his ward. A fellow guardian-not because it was his mate, but rather, because it was his savior-at least, in his eyes anyways. If you ask his Ward and leader, Claptrap, he was just protecting the ward that is his beloved territory.
Patina, still merely a hatchling, declared himself strong enough to find his ward. After journeying, truthfully, not all that far from home, he ran into trouble. Big, big trouble. The monsters of the murk were encroaching upon him, and fast. He realized then that he had made quite the mistake. However, with a roar nearby and a flash of brown, he found himself surrounded on all sides. A quick check revealed the legs of a mighty, and much older, guardian. Before he knew it, the monsters were gone, and the guardian looming over him with a strange look in his eyes.
"My savior!" and with that, Claptrap found he couldn't seem to shake the hatchling. "I'll protect you, too!"
