Sopdu is the Egyptian god of the eastern desert and the eastern border regions. He usually is depicted as a bedouin with a beard, a falcon feather crown and an apron made of leather stripes. His name means "The sharp one" and he also has the title "teeth of the deceased".

Sopdu lives in the eastern desert where he keeps an eye at the borders. He gives every god crossing this border a warm welcome to have a nice chat with them - and to check if they have something evil in mind. If he recognizes something irregular he sends the god back to where he or she came from. But most time of the day Sopdu is sitting alone at his place in heaven to have a look at the desert and the eastern borders.
Sopdu loves his wife Chensit but since they don't see each other that often he is allowed to flirt with other gods and humans. He likes to do so and has a little crush on Asian goddesses and women. Chensit has an eye on her husband whenever he is flirting too much but Sopdu knows his limits and never betrayed Chensit before.
