Ｏ?ＥＲＯＮ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━ title or clan position Not a soul is quite certain as to why or how Oberon came to the dens of the Unchanging Sand. His arrival was a mystery to all, and the strange runes that glow along his side are unique among the dragons of this clan. Not many dragons are overflowing with so much magic that it shines through their hide and makes itself known. Why, then, did this imperial choose to come here, were it even his choice at all? Whatever the reason, the arrival of a similarly powerful mirror hatchling seems to be tied into this whole mess. Oberon holds her quite dearly, as if he were her father...but yet, he's clearly unrelated. The way that he cradles her is strange, without any sort of experience in the matter. Rather than singing to her in Draconic, an ancient tongue escapes his lips, one that has long since been erased from the minds of the modern species of Sornieth. The two of them are quite strange, but loved as all the others nonetheless. |

In truth, Oberon is a god of the moon, simply a divine wanderer for no reason other than he prefers it that way. He somehow found his way to this small Earth clan with his dear prodigy, Noelle, on their journeys across Dragonhome. Together, they've moved in and made themselves quite at home. Noelle is studying magic and the stars, while Oberon is simply trying to learn all that he can and train her in the ways of his celestial magicks. He's managed to get through to Thuan, who frankly only knew enough of Oberon's language to communicate with him due to his extensive studies of old literature. Their friendship is promising, however, and to Oberon, it marks the beginning of a new chapter in his life - one in which it's not just him and his student, but now the clan that took them in and their series of adventures. Life is looking a lot brighter now, and that's not just because there's nothing above their heads to keep them from seeing the skies. There's no need to be lonely anymore. |
