An Old Soul
The children of the Masons are creatures of mystery. Seemingly carved from solid stone, yet somehow birthed from crystal eggs and pulsing with the magic of life and growth, these dragons endlessly seek meaning and purpose in what might be a never-ending life.

Arroyo can only be approximated by an ancient stone washing up on the shore of a great ocean, all edges rubbed smooth and with a weight that is simply inexpiable. This dragon has, since his birth, been an indescribable enigma. His very essence is older than the universe. He has always spoken slow and carefully. He has always been smooth and thoughtful. He has always just… been there. Forever.

This is all just how he is, of course. Arroyo is not ancient at all. In fact, he is barely a teenager. But he walks and talks and thinks as though he has simply been hanging around for millennia. In that way, there is no dragon like him. Arroyo is still just a young dragon, however-- and while he might seem inaccessible, it is quite easy to get him chatting about his favorite radio drama characters with the excitement of a hatchling.
