 Uh-oh, looks like this feathery friend wandered a little too far from her home lair (BlueEyesNeko, 200004), and now she's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but she would be very grateful!

Silly request: Violetta was an exalt hatchling I saved so I won't have an easy way of finding her again to see how her travels are going. If she goes on awesome travels and hasn't been back home to tell the tale in a while, please shoot me a message so I can maybe read about it? c: Thanks! <3

The Spectrum
Violetta had only ever known The Spectrum, a clan that moved throughout the Windswept Plateau. She ended up there early on as a hatchling and never knew where she truly came from. She was told by a few other dragons that she was found outside the lair one morning and they all just took her in. Violetta was very grateful for her life there, but she wasn't exactly happy. She hadn't found a mate, anything she truly liked, or really good friends in all her time there. There wasn't anyone to blame, she just didn't fit in there anymore. So, on a clear night, she took one last look at the only lair she had known and flew off in the moonlight. She hoped she could find a life that fulfilled her more, elsewhere.

Wanderweg Wood
Violetta arrived at the home of the Companions, where many other Travelers came and went. At the edg eof Wanderweg Wood, it was a welcoming place that smelled of rich herbs and homemade food. The dragons there were kind, with the two Guardians who ran it checking her in and helping make her feel at home. But none contributed more to her stay than Saoirse, the daughter of one of the Companions. She showed Violetta around the home she had grown up in, from the kitchens to the library to the gardens, and Violetta in turn told her of The Spectrum. Both shared gleeful stories of supported childhoods, and near-misses with dangers beyond their sight. Violetta, who had yet to make a close friend in her time at The Spectrum, found herself reveling in Saoirse's company.

During her time with the Companions, she stumbled upon another Spectrum dragon, Exelon, who was also staying with the Companions. The two of them caught up, discussing their travels, and she briefly considered asking him to carry on with her, but he had things to take care of...two little eggs...here at the Companions' home. So she assumed she would be traveling alone.

Yet as she packed her things, Saoirse approached her, quietly asking if she could come. If Violetta would tolerate her companionship. The Skydancer was overcome, throwing her arms around her new friend. Exclaiming her delight and agreement, before helping Saoirse pack and say her goodbyes. The two were soon off on the next step of their adventure...

"Can't turn back now, we just have to get through this..."
"I'm sorry that I...AAGH!"
"SAOIRSE!! Grab my arm!"
"I can't hold on...!"
"Saoirse??! Where are you?!"

The Fount of Travelers
It had been a long time since Violetta had last travelled. After a being separated from Saoirse, Violetta had found herself alone again in the Fount of Travelers. Although it was a lovely place to stay while she recovered from her injuries, the sweets and welcoming atmosphere weren't enough to dull her heartache. Violetta missed Saoirse terribly, and it was hard to enjoy any of the Fount's pleasures knowing she was out there somewhere. And so, with renewed resolve, Violetta set out once again, this time in search of her beloved friend.
