Jalaneel started this clan after he was exiled from his old one for unknown reasons. Some often find him hard to talk to due to his tough exterior, but is very fatherly once you crack his shell. He also has a soft spot for young dragons and hatchlings.

Jalaneel is very assertive when he knows what he wants and often has trouble seeing things from other people's perspectives. He tends to get defensive when his beliefs are challenged. While he does have a temper, he rarely ever becomes violent when angered. Some believe he may not even be a good fighter to begin with.

He can seem a little bit too secretive and withholds his emotions very often. No one except Tonya and his sister, Astrid, really know about his past. He doesn't really trust other dragons unless he really knows them. While he often accepts new dragons into his clan, they don't have his complete trust until they've been there for awhile. This can make him come off as rude sometimes.
