"You shine on and on, almost pitifully so, but your life is akin to that of a lonesome bird in a gilded cage; unable to sing. Come, and let me set you free."

She had been alone and desolate, abandoned by even her parents. The tears which she shed froze before they left her eyes, as her overwhelming power seemingly caused all to unrelentingly freeze. Thus, she could only live in solitude, amidst a garden of silver snow, eternally forsaken by all but herself.

One day, however, she raised her head and witnessed a warming brilliance. The light was almost painfully blinding, but she became enamored with the glory that it held. It seemed to purify and cleanse both her soul and mind. Morgana raised her head, and saw the sight of Avalon, stalwart and alone in defense of Solstice. The radiant purity of her very aura seemed to call, and in that single moment, Morgana came to know what love felt like. It was a second of such bliss, that she wished time would stop then, now and forevermore.

Longing to embrace that light, Morgana followed Avalon's trail, eventually finding Solstice. Yet, she could never see the golden soul that she had come to desire. After all, Avalon was that which Deiarma and the four guardians vigilantly stewarded, a martyr who bore the price of shouldering its power. And the more she watched, the more it pained her. And after she had made one horrendous discovery, she came to a resolution. Even if it meant defying the truth, she would release Avalon from those strange shackles...
