Hatchlings born to The Stricken are trained in warfare and survival skills. Growing up seeing the Gladekeeper and Plaguebringer worshiped side by side means they are surprisingly openminded to new ideas, but tend to be blasé about death and violence which can come across as callous to dragons from other flights.
Tide’s parents were a Fisherman and a Electrician, he grew up following his father on fishing trips but often ended up in trouble by straying too far. He usually got out of punishment by coming up with a clever joke and making his father laugh and forget what he was mad about. Now he is almost come of age he is about to embark on his Search, but he's unsure he'll find anything that he loves more than exploring. His greatest fear is that his charge will tie him to a single place forever.
