Brine

Despite being born to a wind clan, Brine has always considered himself a true sea dragon. He would feel more at home in the salty depths than the windy heights. So once he was old enough to travel he wasted no time in heading to the sea and starting to build himself a life there.

He ended up settling in a fishing town, finding a nice spot by the beach and building himself a quaint shack. Over time he became quite skilled at fishing, it was a good way to earn some treasure and trade his catch for other goods. After all, even if he developed a taste for seafood himself, he still needed a good meal of insects and meat every now and then.

As a reminder to his old clan however, he crafted multiple wind chimes, made from either seashells, sea glass or bamboo, and hung them around his shack. He quite enjoys crafting them as a hobby and tends to gift them to friends or sell to tourists. He also tends to craft other things, like accessories. And every now and then he scours the beach for pretty sea glass, being especially fond of the aqua colored ones.

One day, after coming home from the market, he felt like having a little snack. So he reached into his basket to pull out a nice insect, only for said insect to start bubbling like crazy in his face. Turned out it wasn't an insect at all but actually some sort of fuzzy shrimp. Seems there was a mixup at the market, but he couldn't bring himself to return the little guy. So Brine decided to befriend him, and now Bubbles the shrimp is his trusted companion.

The life of a beach dragon might not be very exciting, unless the typhoons come in, but it is a nice and relaxing life. And if you ask Brine, there's nothing like basking in the sun and enjoying the salty smell of the sea as the wind chimes around you.
