P A S T
Mayu was found by Paean as a newborn. She doesn't remember much of this meeting other than a sudden feeling of warmth and kindness after spending what seemed like ages without food and water. From that day on, Paean has raised Mayu like one of her own. Mayu was instantly welcomed into the clan by everyone except Cerulean, who believed that such small dragons would just get in the way and cause trouble. Mayu's early days involved following Paean around and helping her take care of the clan's eggs. Paean did most of the work, so Mayu kept her mind occupied by looking at the various plants surrounding the nesting site. She quickly learned how to tell each plant apart by sight and smell. Asami took note of this interest and borrowed some botany books from a nearby clan to begin the young dragon's training as a future forager.

Despite her quiet nature and difficulty in communicating with other dragon species, Mayu does her best to help others just like her mother. However, this usually ends in a misunderstanding between dragons. This only serves to prove Cerulean's point of tiny dragons not being of much use in the clan. He especially makes sure that she doesn’t forget the time when [event]. Mayu is currently the clan's only forager. Due to the amount of experience she has from having started at an early age, Asami has mentioned that she might make Mayu the Head Forager once more dragons join the clan. Her daily routine as the clan’s forager includes going out into a nearby forest and checking the trees and bushes for any ripe fruits and berries until she fills up a couple of baskets. This can take many hours and occasionally up to a whole day. Fortunately, Mayu enjoys being in the forest and doesn’t seem to mind how time consuming it can be. Her ragepuff, which she has known since she was a small hatchling wandering around the nesting site, keeps her company during these long outings.

F U T U R E
Mayu is looking forward to the possibility of becoming the clan's Head Forager. The thought of this makes her strive to beat her record of food gathered in one day. This has left the other clan members in awe of her ability, some stating that one day she might even be able to bring enough food to rival the amount Cerulean brings back after his long days out. Paean is very proud of Mayu’s accomplishments and supports her in any way she can. Mayu has always been curious about who her original parents were and how different her life would have been if she had grown up with them. Mayu doesn't intend to leave her clan, but she hopes to meet her parents one day.
