No one's quite sure how Cordelia ended up in the Lost Court. In fact, no one is really certain they exist. Some will glance here and there and out of the corner of their eye see a flash of red or blue, though that could easily been a mistake seeing as those were the colors of the kingdom. It was the voice that led them to believe that this being was sentient. Soft whispers brushed by ears, spoken in a foreign tongue. Either they were all dreaming, or there really was something in the air. The members of the Lost Court ended up nicknaming them Cordelia, and even now the name is spoken with a strange sort of fondness.



  origins.

// No one knows where or how Cordelia got here. I don't know–I was writing poems on a chilly night out. When I looked up, I saw a figure swathed in clothes fit for a queen–but when I got up to investigate Cordelia wasn't there anymore. I thought it was the fatigue and the wavering candlelight getting to me. However, other dragons have seen them too. Seraphina was especially worried, but none of us know why. She was also extremely reluctant to say anything, and I think it's not only me who suspect that pearlcatcher to be hiding something. Either way, we think they might be some sort of ghost because there's this ghost of a fox that seems to turn up not long after anyone sees them. The ghost doesn't seem as shy though. It let me get closer before it ran. -Rivin
