______ Alberic is a masterful sorcerer with an expertise in black magic and creatures of evil. When he is in his human form, he also demonstrates excellent swordsmanship. Although he mostly keeps to himself, he will often instruct his familiar, Nemisis, to spy on other dragons for him. His motives behind this are unknown. In his spare time, Alberic can usually be seen reading from his Battered Book of Fables, carefully “brushing” a Cursed Tuft of Fur against certain dragons he walks by without them noticing, and crafting strange jewelry from Pulsating Green Embers, Jade, and Seeker Brooches. His motives behind these activities are, again, unknown.

______ Alberic is considered one of “the elder ones,” who aided in the clan’s migration from the dark and misty cliffs of the Tangled Wood to the Rotrock Rim. As a result of this, he knows many things about both the Shadowbinder’s and Plaguebringer’s domains. He remembers very little about his homeland, the Windswept Plateau. Alberic also has keen knowledge about many of his former, elder lairmates, many of whom dealt with the workings of darker magics. While it is unknown how he gained such extensive knowledge in the field of black magic in particular, it is theorized that he most likely learned the art of sorcery from his adoptive parents, who he recalls fondly after they went to serve the Plaguebringer, grateful that she would allow their lair to migrate to their current location. Besides his adoptive mother and father, Alberic does not willingly speak about his familial relations, and currently has no children, blood-related or adopted.
