Cupcake


Of the eighth two kids, Cupcake chose the simple life. That was, simply making cupcakes. She didn't really have an interest making anything else; she preferred to perfect her craft and make new arrangements and flavors of a long-loved recipe than try to be mediocre at many things. She took her time, always known to be the slowest at frosting her pastries, because she insisted on getting a perfect swirl to the top. Her sister always teased her for sticking her tongue out to the side as she worked with such high focus. Her decorations were modest, because she believed they were more like excuses to hide blunders than added flair. She holds great pride in never making an ugly cupcake! (Well, once she got it down.)

As the second sister, Cupcake was much quieter and didn't seem to interact much with other hatchlings. As she got older, though, that personality took a turn for the more comical; she used her quiet nature to become one of the best pranksters in the family. And her laugher was an unforgettable roar that made sure everybody knew who they were pranked by! She learned to have a secret fondness for cupcakes with springs in them, so when tilted just right, that beautiful frosting would go right in the face of the would-be consumer. She made sure to reserve those just for her best friends or worst enemies.

Cupcake's unruly nature reminded her parents of an older sibling of hers, Chip, who they thought would be a good... mentor for her behavior. Which turned out to be much better than expected! Cupcake and Chip bonded almost immediately, spending hours laughing in roars about the kinds of jokes and pranks they both had played. It was a bit chaotic at first; they had a little too much fun playing jokes on some of the other clanmates. But this called Chip to be the mature older brother and teach Cupcake a lesson in moderation. Too many pranks wouldn't make it fun for the others. Though she begrudgingly listened to him at first, in time, the advice helped her, and her type of "jokes" became nicer and more friendly than the mean streak she once had. In turn, she helped her older brother finally see some more value in simple baking, to the joy of their parents. The two of them were a powerful duo for both laughter and hunger!

Sundae dragons, in their family line, all have a knack for the sweet and delicious. Ever since they hatch, Sundae dragons are exposed to the wonders of the culinary arts, and are immediately brought to the kitchen when old enough. Each dragon finds their own special talent within the world of cooking and baking, which may be adapted there or otherwise. Due to the natural infusions of their family recipes' ingredients, most Sundae dragons tend to hail from the Viridian Labyrinth, although some are known to venture off into other lands, generations to come. All Sundae dragons take from their family line of delicious plumage, that making them appear like chocolate swirl ice cream or chocolate chip cookies to show off their lineage, with accents of fluffy frosting.
