Observations & Notes: There is something deeply unsettling about the twins born under the last Blood Moon. Maybe because the eclipse lasted unusually long, it affected the hatchlings’ magical abilities in ways no one can quite fathom yet. Hekate hasn’t invoked her runes and she is rather unforthcoming about her skills. I suspect though from close observation that her abilities are similar to those of her mother Ishtar. Like her, Hekate seems sensitive to the supernatural and spirits in particular. Whether she only sees, or is indeed able to summon and command them, only she knows. And she won’t tell. Well, at least not to me.
I recommend close observation, especially if she invokes her runes. Hekate does not seem to be cruel or despotic and neither has she inherited her father’s short temper but caution is advised. The ability to “cross the veil” runs strong in her bloodline and tempering with the things beyond can be dangerous.
